UPTET 2013 Notification: The State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Uttar Pradesh has released the notified to conduct the UP Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)  2013 under the Advertisement  on the Exam Date. This is the Test held every year to appoint as Teacher in Primary School managed by Government management. Through this  Test, Govt. Uttar Pradesh is going to fill 45,000 Vacancies of primary Teachers in UP Primary Schools. All the Eligible and interested candidates need to apply through the Online Application form before the last date i.e. 13th May, 2013.

Name of Examination : Uttar pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET)

This year UPTET will appoint the candidates in 4 level:

1. Primary Level Class I to V
2. Language Teacher of Primary level
3. Upper primary Level Class VI to VIII
4. Language Teacher of upper primary level.

Candidates with knowledge of URDU/English  or Sanskrit Language will be appoint as Language Teacher.

UPTET Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have following qualifications as prescribed . The State governments may change the qualifications and eligibility requirements as per the GOs issued by them for UPTET Exam 2013:

Educational Qualifications: 

• For Teachers of Classes I to V : For Candidates who are going to apply for HTET must possess BTC , D.Ed , NTT , 2 years BTC Urdu , Graduate Degree or have a minimum Bachelor degree of Elementary Education from any recognized Board/University.
• For Teachers of Classes VI to VIII :Candidates must possess Graduatation( Bachelor Degree) with minimum 45 % marks with 2 year Diploma in Education or appearing /passed in B.Ed with 50 % marks or have 4 year special Education Diploma with 50%  marks to be an Eligible Candidates for UPTET 2013

Age Limit : To be an eligible candidates, the age must be not be below than 18 years.

UPTET Important/Exam Dates:

• Online Registration will commence on : 26th April, 2013
• Last date for Online registration : 13th May, 2013
• Last date for fee submission : 18th May, 2013
• Date of UPTET 2013 Exam : After 4 weeks from the last date of online registration
• Result date of UPTET 2013 : within 4 weeks from the date of UPTET 2013 Exam.

How to Apply:

 Interested Candidates would be required to apply Online for UPTET from official website (www.upgov.nic.in) , Candidates have to apply within last date of Online registration. Kindly have scanned photograph and signature while going to fill Online application form.

Application Fee : 
1. Unreserved Candidates need to pay Rs. 300/-.
2. SC/ST/PH Candidates need to pay Rs. 150/-.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of UPTET Entrance Exam , Candidates who will score 60% marks only they will be appointed as teacher(Relaxation for reserved categories candidates like SC/ST Candidates have to score 55% mark in TET 2013).
